Billions of Nanoscopic spheres enter the spacing’s in between metal surfaces. A spherical morphology allows to the particles to act as a Nano ball bearings, which reduce the frictional forces between metal surfaces.
A protective film on moving metal surfaces gives the metal durable protection and the ability to withstand high pressures. Thus the tribofilm extends the mechanical efficiency and apparatus life. This super-lubrication tribofilm layer stays attached to the contacting surface even if the lubricating oil has been drained out.
